Stories inspired by running in Norfolk and beyond

Hellesdon loop

Feeling like I’m starting to make some progress, even though only just running once a week still.

DSC_0053Out today just after 9am for a 9km run (all the nines was not intentional btw) – a Hellesdon loop, down to Marriott’s Way through Sloughbottom Park and then back home.

Here are the details thanks to Strava.

Meanwhile a lot of runners were taking part in the Broadland Half Marathon. I’ve done it before and it’s a great course – was hoping to do it again, but it sold out pretty quickly this year.

First Strava run

I’ve still not progressed from a single weekly run as yet. But this year I thought I’d try Strava and see if that could help.

Previously I’ve tried other apps, namely Map My Run, with limited success.

However, so far I’ve been impressed with the ease of the Strava experience.

Here are the stats for the first run. The route is my basic run to my local park.
